![]() We are a family business that has grown since 2012 from selling a small variety of items at paranormal events, craft shows, and psychic fairs into an impressive storefront. Bonnie is the owner/manager and joined by her daughter Jenny who is our Assistant Manager. We now have a wonderful staff to assist us to help you with your spiritual needs.
April 25, 2014, Enchanted Boutique opened in White Bear Lake as the metaphysical supplier of books, supplies and gifts for people of alternative beliefs. We have a variety of intuitive services and energy work available. In January 2022, we moved to Maplewood to continue on in a much larger space. We have a wonderful space where we hold a variety of classes and events that we host. When you walk into our shop, you will love the diversity of the items we carry. Customers are amazed at our large selection of tumbled stones, crystal points and other gemstones. Over and over, our customers say they love the energy that they feel when they come in. And sometimes, they come on just for the feeling they get when they are in the shop. Motivation from songs keep us going!2022 was to be a new beginning for us with a new space, but we had set backs that took a lot motivation to keep us going. These two songs kept Bonnie & the shop on track.
Start Again Don't Stop Bonnie was able to personally thank Donny Osmond for the inspiration to keep going in September! |

Thanks to our friends and customers for your support over the last 8+ years
Bonnie, Jenny, and the staff at Enchanted Boutique want to thank all of our friends, customers, and providers (past and present) that have helped us grow and expand over the last 8 years.
When we started vending at paranormal events in 2011, Bonnie did not have any idea of what it would lead to. Pure and simple,, It was a way to help the costs of attending the events. We had a few items. Bonnie was working full time and making jewelry on the side. Jenny was still in high school.
When Chris came to Minnesota in 2012 and we started doing Psychic Fairs and more events. Jenny liked to carry the big salt lamps to each of them .... Talk about heavy!
in February 2014 Bonnie & Chris started playing around with the idea of not having to tote them around and getting an actual space to sell at.
March 10, Bonnie took the plunge and signed the lease at 4066 White Bear Ave in White Bear Lake for a single room. We opened Enchanted Boutique on April 25th. The reading space, nicknamed the "Psychic Corner" was just that a corner in the room. On May 1st Bonnie "retired" from state employment and took on the shop full time. Bonnie & Chris were covering the shop while Jenny was going to college.
A few months later, another room in the building become available so we grabbed that, but more for an office space.
In 2015 we took another step into the space we held for almost 7 years on the corner. 1000 square feet, several rooms to work with. Bonnie thought it would be big enough. Little did she realize how small it really was.
2016 we expanded into another area of the building to have a bigger classroom and a space for events. Enchanted Awakenings was born. This space gave us another 700 square feet and with Covid turned into more of a warehouse, shipping, and receiving area when we were not holding events or classes. Yes, it was hard to move items out of the way for the classes and events.
Jenny started working full-time for Bonnie in 2021 and become our assistant manager, after dealing with Covid in the daycare system.
That is why we started looking for a bigger space in 2021. Bonnie & Jenny looked at a few spaces earlier in the year, but they did not seem to be a good fit. We wanted to stay close to the old location. We have some awesome and loyal customers that we did not want to lose due to a move.
After returning from a trip to Indiana, we discover one of the "water" issues in the shop & Bonnie's office was actually sewage from the apartment upstairs we decided that we REALLY needed to get out of there.
In the first part of October, we looked at two spaces that seemed okay, one more so than the other. The scary part was the lease costs. But after consulting with our awesome accountant we calculated that we could do it. Bonnie & Jenny went to the east coast for a real vacation (two weeks of not working!).
It was a long process but after meeting with the landlord and his time we got the new space. We were combining two spaces into one for a total of over 8,500 square feet, with a 10-year lease and a lot of work ahead of us. Bonnie signed the lease in December with the construction plan in place for it.
January was off to a rocky start with a sprinkler head freezing and water delaying the construction and painting process. But we stuck to it. painting and working around the fans and other items as they happened. New carpeting was laid in the retail area. Finally on we were good enough on February 2nd to open the doors at the new Maplewood location.
Valentine's Day proved to be a little more than wet .... Not only did the sprinkler system burst again, but this time the coupler holding the sprinkler head broke in half. It shot water out so fast and crazy we had 3 to 4 inches of water on the floor in almost the full space within minutes. To make it worse, it happened while we were open and had customers in the shop!
The Clean Response team was in within the next couple of hours to start the clean-up process. Talk about a great company to deal with!! By the time everything was said and done, they had 100 fans and 60 industrial dehumidifiers in our space to dry it all up.
Needless to say, we lost some of the inventory that was out and some of the fixtures and other items. All of the books, tarot & oracle decks, incense, and herbs could not be sold. We need to replace a lot of things, which we are still working on.
Thankfully the warehouse area was spared any water damage, We still had items in there that we had not gotten out after the move., so we had some inventory left. But the inventory that we moved out of the shop due to the water got mixed in with everything items that were not priced yet.
We still had some painting to do and now we had to deal with more work due to the water damage. All the carpeting had to be replaced, sheetrock removed and replaced.... it has been a long process!
While we waited, we were so sad because our customers wanted to come in, but we couldn't let them. We had so much work to do, but most of it was out of our hands. Talk about STRESS!! Bonnie's theme songs during this time were "Don't Stop" & "Start Again" by Donny Osmond. She had to listen to them over and over to try to keep the stress and frustration from totally getting to her. Believe me -- it was not easy and she wanted to break a few things. -- oh wait, she did! A couple of items that needed to be replaced got her anger taken out on them.
On March 5th we partially opened up again and waited for the carpeting to come in and be laid. We moved items around a few times while the carpeting was laid before we could fully stock.
April was good for us. We finally got the carpeting done. We are fully open. We had our Grand Opening and celebrated our 8th anniversary. We are survivors!
Needless to say, it has hurt the savings that we had put aside to pay for some of the things that we wanted to do. We have not been able to replace some of the items yet as we wait for the insurance to come through. But we are doing it!!
November 2022, the Maplewood battle was lost. We closed that space and put everything into storage for a while.
February 2023 is a new beginning for us once again. Like Donny Osmond said , "It is never to late to start again." We are partnering up with Echo Bodine and sharing a space with her in Richfield.
And thanks to some awesome people out there, our customers and friends, we will not stop!! Thank you so much for all of your love and support!!
